I’m available for one-off projects or ongoing arrangements. Rates are:
- Proofreading (per project): $0.015/word
- Line editing (per project): $0.025/word
- Monthly retainers available: Priced in increments of 10,000 words for $250.
What to Expect
Need to add some polish to your words? I offer the following services:
Proofreading is the final polish and focuses on grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax accuracy and consistency.
Line editing looks after these things while also re-writing sentences for clarity, as needed, and offering comments and suggestions on the writing to improve it. This is not developmental editing that heavily re-writes or re-structures a text.
Retainer services can be applied to emails, reports, articles, web copy, or any other writing you produce. It’s the best for professionals who need to put out a larger volume of content and want someone on-call throughout the month. As a retainer client, you can expect:
- Priority in my workload.
- On-call availability.
- Quick turnaround (24 hours for anything less than 2,000 words and three days for longer items—deadlines can always be discussed).
All editing and proofreading services include:
- Tracked changes.
- Consistency with your English dialect (UK, US, Canadian, or Australian English).
- Accurate application of any style or brand guidelines.
Resumes & Cover Letters
Need an updated job application? I’ll edit and optimize your resume, CV, cover letter, and/or LinkedIn profile to make sure your application stands out from the rest.
What to expect:
- Clean and straightforward formatting with effective headings
- All grammar, spelling, and punctuation edited and proofread for accuracy
- Comments with suggestions for additional content to add if any sections require it
